We Answered:

Casey Said:

what kind of computer training do you need to create content management websites, such as recruitment websites

We Answered:

Hi,

Obviously if you intend to work through Joomla you need to train in the technologies used by Joomla: Php language and MySQL database query language. Both of them are also the main languages used in open source web applications whatever they are: CMS, Blog, e-commerce.

You'll also find useful to learn Database Modeling basics to be able to understand why a database is badly designed or how to optimize it, or how to write new modules for Joomla and make it comply to the existing database.

And the last thing you should learn about is how to set up a webserver, (ie Apache 2.0). A good set of tools and websites to start with to become a webdevelopper includes:

apachefriends.org -> you can download a full platform (Xampp) that will let you install any open source web application based on php & mysql. Works perfectly on Windows systems.

editors: I like to use ConText which is free of charge and open souce as well, though many like to use phpedit or UltraEdit. I also use Zend Standard 5.5 version + Adobe Dreamweaver MX.

Sum up:
You need to be familiar with web standards (HTML, CSS), web development technologies (Php, MySQL, Apache), and also some graphic design concepts to deliver a user-friendly interface.
There are other technologies like ASP, but since it's not relevant to your request, it's not worth writing more on that.

I hope it will help you to start.

We Answered:

Put those words into Google.com.

Caroline Said:

Which is the best web site for soft skills training ?

We Answered:

Well you won't find this in one particular website.
You will have to Google Search & make points accordingly.
For Time Management: the best thing is to wake up early in the morning 1 hour before the sunrise & to go to bed at 9.30pm
Do yoga, meditation & chant the Holy name of God - this will really help you alot in all 3 mentioned above.

Discuss It!
