Yes they might hire you.
Usually they offer a guaranteed salary of $2,000-$2,500/month for 2-3 months. After that pay is commission from sales.

Be aware that many auto companies that "offer" training only mean that that will have a sales trainer come in and go through a sales training program with the new sales representatives.
"YOU" have to pay for the training such as $500.00 for a 5 day course.

You have to have a college degree. It doesn't matter what the subject matter is, but a bachelor's is required. Also, any type of quantifiable sales experience is important for any sales position.

But that being said, take it from someone who just left the industry (yours truly). You don't want to be a drug rep. I just got out of the industry and it's a complete mess right now. I can name about 10 companies I know that are laying off (in the 1,000's) right now. It is high-pressure, high-volatility, and undergoing massive upheaval and changes right now.

I just know how absolutely miserable I was in the position for 2 years; I wish I had stuck to something less stressful and more stable. I honestly wish people had been up front with me about how awful a toll it takes on your life and health (I suffered stress-related health problems for the last year because of it).

I don't know anything about RED, but some time ago I did extensive research into a number of British driving schools with a view to taking up driving instruction as a career. I'm very glad I did the research, because I found out that I would have had to work days, nights and weekends just to pay off the costs and earn a meagre living.

There were a couple of independent driver training companies with good reputations and reasonable costs. The one you describe sound like it could do with a thorough investigation by Watchdog!

I am passionate about driving, and became a member of the Institute of Advanced Drivers and the Advanced Driving section of RoSPA many years ago. I used to give people free advanced driving instruction and found it extremely rewarding. Teaching absolute novices how to drive is another matter altogether and you need a certain temperament and discipline to do it.

I recommend you contact the IAM (in London) or RoSPA (in Birmingham) to get information on professional driver instruction organisations - and a free assessment of your own driving skills!

You need to look at these at-home opportunities with a sceptical eye. If they're charging you for an "opportunity", you can assume that they're making their money off their "workers" paying them not employers for their workers. The qualifications are there to make you think this is real. Read many other answers on this subject--most of these are scams, pure and simple.
