Sales Training Effectiveness

Philip Said:

Research needed as part of my re-employment program...?

We Answered:

Ugh...I can only help you on a very small level...I know graphic artists that design sites and also specially trained web-designers who took concentrated classes for the stuff...why not look around locally, see what local business has a site - hopefully it's one you like, and contact their webmaster...it's a start.

Frances Said:

I am so frustrated with the line of job that I have... But I dont have any choice but to stay. Can u help me?

We Answered:

I can't help you with your job but I can offer you a way to make enough money so you could quit. I've been working for a great work at home company since febuary and I get my paycheck every month like clockwork. My company is registered with the Better Business Bureau but I'd watch for work at home companies that aren't. It's hard to know who to trust. Mine did have a small start up fee of only $29.00 but that gets you a membership to order products that are safe for the planet and safe for children. It's like a Sam's club or Cosco membership. I make great money advertising and setting up customer accounts and it's allowed me to stay at home with my son. Should the US Government and the FDA be allowed to regulate Alternative Medicines?

We Answered:

I say yes, here is why - if the FDA approves various herbal remedies, etc then doctors can then legally prescribe them if needed for one thing. Another thing is that Herbs ARE DRUGS. For example, the primary ingredient in most prescription drugs is an herb of some kind. Like Viagra is basically nothing more than an herb in a pill packaging. The problem with the FDA regulating this is that if it isn't approved they can take it off the shelves for a while. I wonder if this is a conspiracy by the drug companies so that only the drug companies can sell herbs. I don't know. But FDA approval will give these items the same testing as our drugs and that testing is needed. And it gives one standard by which to measure by. If you get Enzymes from your pharmacy they use one measurement system to measure how many units it is and if you go to your health food store they use another measurement system,a nd nobody knows how many of one = how many of the other one.

Right now you have doctors who make you buy a $1200 medicine when they could tell you to try the $3 herb, but the doctor can't tell you to take the $3 herb without FDA approval legally, so if these are approved your doctor can now tell you to take the $3 herb and they can do it legally. It might be good for everyone, but then it might not be either.
I really dont' know.

I think it's been frustrating for me that the herbs haven't had FDA regulation.

But that doesn't necessarily make it good

Can someone give me helpful advice on my resume?

We Answered:

Okay, here is my critique. Your objective is too long-winded and wordy. Get straight to the point and I agree with the other persons to make it benefit the employer and actually change it with each job.

Qualifications section is pretty good. Maybe revise "group effectiveness skills" as I don't really know what that means. "Team Player" maybe would work better and companies REALLY like that! Keep the part after it. I get what you are saying with the self-managing work effort but that phrase is a little clumsy. As well as being a team player, you can work "independently" and make decisions and keep the other part you had there.

I'd change "computation" to computer skills or something like that.

Education is good just drop the GPA because its not that high. (no offense)

Nice phrase: "Provided friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all customers." Lots of good action verbs I notice in your experience section.

Overall it is better than most. Remember to keep it to one page.

I need advice on the resume I just wrote?

We Answered:

a few pointers from me

QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS
What you have here are not qualifications - they are traits.
They are important but they need to go in the section that you call skills further down

SKILLS - These are the hard skills that should be listed under Qualifications at the top

DO NOT list the high school - just the college, the degree and the year of graduation

Ran the commercial window - change that to Managed the commercial window (sounds more impressive)

Your tenses are all over the place - some are present tense and others are past tense.

everything should be past tense.

Here is the first job as an example

Commercial teller
Provided high quality customer service
Handled a wide range of transactions including deposits, withdraws, and loan payments
Above average performance reviews and excellent balancing history
Heavy cash handling including bank vault transactions
Ordered cash from the Federal Reserve for four branches
Assisted Lead Teller with job duties when out of the office
Assisted in the training of new hires

Much better - more consistency
now do the others so they read the same

Hope this all helps
