I had the same problem, but my dog was a hard headed 3 year old.

I put her on a long rope and let her wander off. When she was about to hit the end of the rope, I'd call her back and when she did come back to me, I'd make a big fuss of it and give her a treat.

If you can do this well, move onto doing it without the rope.

If you keep practicing all the time, soon enough you will be able to call your dog back from anywhere.

As for the road, teach him to be aware of traffic. Make him sit whenever you get to a road and wait. If he runs onto the road, tell him off and make him sit next to you. He will learn that he is not allowed to cross a road without you.

I'm still trying to teach that one, it doesn't seem to be getting through her head.

Get the cheat window open, and type:

boolprop testingcheatsenable true

Then if you click on your pets/person's bar or health bar or friendship bar, and drag it up, You can get the levels and other things up, It you press shift and click on the mail box, or pets and even people, you can do things with them
