Customer Service Training - Ideas for an Icebreaker game?We Answered:
Try a game of sell the trailer and have a picture of the worst run down trailer blown up and pinned up then have everyone interactively come up with slogans and sales pitches to sell it as a luxury apartment. It will keep the group on focus for the subject and it might cause a few laughs.Mark Said:
how do I create a blog for my training company? We Answered:
I recommend Blogger. It is free, easy to setup, lots of ready templates and features. For pictures it gives you 300MB of free space. your chosen name is straight forward likeyourname.blogspot.com and you are not as a sub domain of the site like www.service_x.com/your name. It is one of the fastest services. Each time you post , it automatically pings. Because it is owned by Google it shows quicker in search results.

Where do our customer service skills come from?We Answered:
1 Empathy. I would make sure that all my employees have empathy for the customers. Use examples in personal life and put them in the customer's shoes to see what the situations are like.Timothy Said:
Why the difference in customer service skills ?We Answered:
I found the same difference between the US and Britain recently. While on holiday in Florida the staff in shops, bars and restaurants just couldn't do enough for you. Back in Britain, you're met with surly indifference. Most people won't even make eye contact with you.Kelly Said:

Those skills are usually entry level and the company will train you. If you are looking for classes for $50 or less look into Wayne County Community College District. They have alot of locations and different programs.Ross Said:
Where can I get a free online class on customer service and training on everything related to customer serv?We Answered:
If you are currently working, some employers will sign you up for a "Providing Excellent Customer Service" workshop (given one-two times a year in most major cities.) Honestly, you'll have to pay for anything online! I learned mine before working customer service by watching the people at work (esp. my momma) ie when you are shopping or at a restaurant. Before you answer a phone, smile (at&t tip). Ask people how you can help them (never "what do you want") and if you cannot answer or solve their issue, ALWAYS refer them to someone else if possible, or find out who can help. People appreciate that than leaving them with no alternatives. Practice treating people as you would want to be treated, and role play with friends for feedback. A seminar or "how to" is okay, but the real key is your own style and attitude (or overcoming a bad one!)
