I dont know about the UK, but here in the US, even tho we have a new president(thank God!!) that is pro-education and all for helping teachers, the teaching field is still in a crisis here because of the recession. I am in school for teaching also, and my major is Art. I hear all the time about how it will be hard for me to get a teaching job because Art is considered a specialty field, as opposed to Math, or Reading, etc. So ive been wondering whats gonna happen when I graduate, too. Im sure there are more jobs in teaching the basics (what you can primary I guess) I really want to follow my passion, Art, but need to be practical. I guess i havnt given you an answer, just know that there are lots of ppl in your situation, but feel good that you are going into teaching! The world needs more teachers!

There is a great demand for teachers in public schools in areas of science, math and special ed. If you are in any of those areas you should have no problem finding a job.

do a sodium demonstration....everyone loves that... lol... ok college level huh?? maybe do a DNA extraction, a AB group "blood" test to explain how blood is grouped. maybe some ecology type lab/demos... make a insect pin board thingy..

The medical environment holds a wealth of different careers from the obvious nurse and doctor careers to adminstrative careers. My sister wanted to work in this field, but she wasn't certain perfectly what she wanted to do. She discovered the site in the resource box below, it has lots of tips, and it guided her to settle what she wanted to do. They have help with other jobs too.
