Construct your own 350- to 400-word scenario in which you explain distance learning to a friend. Your respons?

We Answered:

Please note, YOUR prompt said YOUR OWN .... scenario. That means YOU are supposed to write it.

Your first step is to make sure you understand how the Axia course works. Obviously that will be done through your U of Phoenix course work.

Now, Google each of these terms. Make SURE you understand them as well. You can devote a paragraph to each.

Finally, use his how-to guide to construct an essay that will help your friend. Since your teacher set this up as a "personal" assignment, it should be fine to use first person (usually not allowed in essay writing).

What is wrong with this psyco woman?

We Answered:

Yes just write her off. She has issues thats clear. Know in your heart that you were a good person who became friends with her when you thought she was telling the truth. Your a good person and you don't need these kinds of people in your life at all.

Online / Distance Learning MBA in India?

We Answered:

Why does it have to be in India? One of the benefits of distance learning is that location of the school does not matter. Consult the Official MBA Guide. It's a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, etc), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools report their accreditation status, tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, and much more. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. It's the best service available at http://officialmbaguide.org.

I am studying in a distance learning course and the lecturer is not willing to help?

We Answered:

I have studied through a distance learning course. The lecturer/tutor is definitely there to advise and guide you. However, I do not think it is up to her to tell you exactly where to find the answers to your assignment. Most distance courses work through sections of the course at one time and then the assignment relates to the section you have just studied. If you look at it this way it should help you.

You can't, of course, post assignment questions on line as this is cheating. However, if you feel your lecturer is particularly unhelpful you should contact the school and ask if there is a possibility of being given a different lecturer. This is often possible, unless the school is very small or there is only one lecturer per subject.

Try to stay calm, both in your approach to the assignment and in any approach you make to the school. They should take you seriously if you make a definite and positive approach to them. You can try to avoid absolute criticism of the lecturer and say that you do not feel you are connecting well. This gives the school a chance to change things without causing any difficulties with the teacher. Definitely talk to someone in the school.
